Congratulations to Elizabeth LaFave, IDPBBC-Chemistry Doctoral Candidate and Entrepreneur, for winning the ECU College of Business Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge! LaFave’s company InvenireĀ receives $15,000 seed money!

In Elizabeth’s words, “Invenire aims to broaden the audience for small museums and libraries through creating a virtual experience, so a user can learn, interact and experience this content on a level never seen before. Initially, Invenire is focused on regional-based outlets that house topics specific to NC such as environmental characteristics, local history, regional economic conditions, agricultural topics and/or cultural uniqueness. Our value aligns with the needs of both museums and libraries by offering the ability to organize and digitize content in an easy and effective way that can reach targeted educational users.”

CONGRATS on this amazing accomplishment!!! Best of luck launching Invenire!!!
